Spiritual Warfare PART 2! | The Enemy's Tactics

Hey, everybody!

I have FINALLY finished the second installation in the "Spiritual Warfare" series on my YouTube channel. I hit several technical difficulties through the video-making process, and I'm not totally surprised about that fact, considering what my subject matter is...  I'm just glad it's live now! I also thought this was the perfect time to share this video with you, since Halloween is right around the corner. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy the video.:)

So, what do you think? Did you learn anything new?

The Reading Quest is OVER!!!

Hey, guys!

I've done a poor job of updating here with new wrap up videos for the Reading Quest, and I'm sorry about that. I've actually decided that I'm not going to continue posting to my BookTube channel, because I'm really busy with my everyday life, and I don't want to spend my time trying to post even more YouTube videos than I already do. My main channel is going to be my priority in regards to YouTube, so whenever I have the time to make a video, that channel (or the one I have with my sister) will be my focus.

Anyways, here is my wrap up video for week 2 of the Reading Quest, and then I'll just catch you guys up with weeks 3 and 4 below it.

During week 3, I finished reading The Yanks are Coming (by Albert Marrin), and I began reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I continued reading Jane Eyre all the way through week 4, but I only made it to page 138 before the Reading Quest was over. So ultimately, I didn't finish all of the challenges along the Knight path, but I got a lot more reading done than I usually complete in about a month's time! I haven't tallied up the number of points I earned and/or pages I read, but I didn't really care about that so much. I honestly am only posting this just so I can say I finished what I started.;)

So that's it for the Reading Quest you guys! I hope that you enjoyed the video.:)

I hope you all enjoyed my video! If you're interested in staying up-to-date on my progress in the reading quest, the best way to do that is to subscribe to my BookTube channel. I post everything there first!

The Reading Quest!

Hey, guys!
I'm going to be taking part in a reading challenge called The Reading Quest this month (Aug. 13- Sep. 10)! Briefly put, this challenge works a lot like a board game, where you follow a certain reading challenge path on the board game map according to which character you choose to play as. I'm choosing the Knight path, and I'm really excited about the books I get to read along that path!

I made this video as a way for me to go over each of the books on my reading quest TBR, so if you want to watch it, it's right here! Otherwise, you can continue reading below the video.
(If you want, you can subscribe to my BookTube channel here!)

TBR & Challenges ~
1.) Read the first book in a series: For this challenge, I'm going to read Lock and Key: The Initiation by Ridley Pearson. This is a spinoff of Sherlock Holmes, and I'm really eager to get started on this one!
2.) Read a book with a verb in the title: I decided to go with Flunked by Jen Calonita. This is the story of a girl who goes to a fairy-tale reform school and gets caught up in some intriguing events there.
3.) Read a book with a weapon on the cover: I'm going to read The Yanks Are Coming by Albert Marrin. This is a non-fiction book about World War I, and it should be a pretty interesting account of history!
4.) Read a book with a red cover: For this one, I chose The Big Fisherman by Lloyd C. Douglas. From what I can tell of this book, it follows Peter, an apostle of Jesus, and his adventures with a runaway princess and her guard. The edition I have is really old, and it has a beautiful vintage cover in the color red.
5.) Read a book with a TV/movie adaptation: I'll finish off with Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I know this classic has at least one movie based on it, and I'm stoked to get to finally read this classic book!

If you guys want to know more about this reading challenge, click here to go to the original blog post! Also, the credit for all of the art in the post and the game board above goes to CW of Read, Think, Ponder.
Stay tuned for updates on my reading journey!
