The Reading Quest!

Hey, guys!
I'm going to be taking part in a reading challenge called The Reading Quest this month (Aug. 13- Sep. 10)! Briefly put, this challenge works a lot like a board game, where you follow a certain reading challenge path on the board game map according to which character you choose to play as. I'm choosing the Knight path, and I'm really excited about the books I get to read along that path!

I made this video as a way for me to go over each of the books on my reading quest TBR, so if you want to watch it, it's right here! Otherwise, you can continue reading below the video.
(If you want, you can subscribe to my BookTube channel here!)

TBR & Challenges ~
1.) Read the first book in a series: For this challenge, I'm going to read Lock and Key: The Initiation by Ridley Pearson. This is a spinoff of Sherlock Holmes, and I'm really eager to get started on this one!
2.) Read a book with a verb in the title: I decided to go with Flunked by Jen Calonita. This is the story of a girl who goes to a fairy-tale reform school and gets caught up in some intriguing events there.
3.) Read a book with a weapon on the cover: I'm going to read The Yanks Are Coming by Albert Marrin. This is a non-fiction book about World War I, and it should be a pretty interesting account of history!
4.) Read a book with a red cover: For this one, I chose The Big Fisherman by Lloyd C. Douglas. From what I can tell of this book, it follows Peter, an apostle of Jesus, and his adventures with a runaway princess and her guard. The edition I have is really old, and it has a beautiful vintage cover in the color red.
5.) Read a book with a TV/movie adaptation: I'll finish off with Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. I know this classic has at least one movie based on it, and I'm stoked to get to finally read this classic book!

Stay tuned for updates on my reading journey!
