Leash training with Hunny

Yesterday, my dad, Emma, and I got to do some dog training together. Our dogs are two years old, and they are still not leash trained. My dad would protest that they're fine, but that it is Emma and I that need to be trained.:P I guess there is some truth to that statement though... Emma and I need to learn how to handle our dogs so that they know what we want and to not man-handle them. We are signed up for obedience training classes at a local Petco, but I feel like our dogs have gotten better with their walking in the two days that my dad has helped us with than with the four weeks of classes we've been taking with our trainer. But that could be because when we go to the class, our dogs are together, not separate. When they are together, they are either competitive, or have anxiety because they aren't together. And in "they" I mean my dog, Hunny.;) We'll work on it! Here are some photos of my dad working with Hunny yesterday.
