Last night, Emma, my mom, and I watched a movie that I haven't seen for years- Singing in the Rain! I watched this movie when I was little, and I remembered parts of the movie from then. I am obsessed with classic movies and musicals, so I wanted to see this movie very badly. I am just enchanted by classic musicals, and other classic (or not so classic) older movies. Think back to the 1950s... Those kind of movies. The kind with incredible dancing and singing musical numbers, and super cute vintage clothing. I really loved Singing in the Rain.:) I loved Gene Kelly and the other guy who plays his best friend in the movie. I also MASSIVELY loved their dancing. My recommendation is to watch it. It's On Demand for two bucks right now.
This morning, something really random happened during lunch time. Emma and my brother Parker were acting like they were super rich aristocrats, and that they were the most amazing people in the world basically! They were both eating trail mix, because Parker said that trail mix is a rich people food. Here are some of the things that they were saying to each other, trying to one-up each other with their "rich people" things. I'll label which quotes are Parker's (P) and Emma's (E).
Did u know that....
(P) That Santa is my personal trainer?
(E) That every man (except Parker and Zach) want me to be their bride?
(P) That Barney is my personal dinosaur that I ride to work everyday?
(E) That I made air?
(P) That I built everyone their own special set of eyes?
(E) That the king of England wants me to be his bride?
(P) That everything in the room is mine because everything was made in China and that is my name?
(E) That barbie was made after me?
(E) That Bigfoot is in my closet?
Crazy right? Those two just love to go at it with each other!
